The "Import Guest" form is accessed from the "Guest Register". This form is used to import guest information into the "Guest Register" and was designed to be used with form based web page. If you have a web site for your property or real estate company, have your webmaster name the input fields to those shown below. The form must output the fields into the e-mail you receive on separate lines as shown. When you receive an e-mail from a prospective guest via a correctly constructed form, the guest information can be transferred to the "Guest Register" by following the steps in the tutorial at the bottom of this page. This should eliminate misspelling the guests name, typing in the wrong telephone number and other common errors that can occur when getting the guest information over the telephone. It also saves a lot of typing. If the guest types in their own information on the form on the web page. Copy the information provided by them from the e-mail you receive (copy the entire e-mail even if some fields are missing or blank) and paste it into the "Import Guest" form. Then click the "Import" button to display the new guest in the "Guest Register". |

Advanced: The fields shown in the image above are the only fields that will import to the "Guest Register". You can have more fields in the form on your website and the extra fields will not effect the ability to import a guest. The HOUSENAME: field must exactly match the property name in the house database for it to import from the form. Use a list box in the form containing the property name(s) to prevent the guest from misspelling the name of the property. Use a "State" list box that outputs the two digit state abbreviation as the program only allows a two digit input into that field. Tutorial:You received this e-mail from a form on your website, from a prospective
guest. HON: mr. and mrs. Tutorial continues:
